Scrap Containers RPP purchases all sizes and all conditions of used plastic bulk containers for use in the production of new DuraGreen containers. |
Recycling Begins After all labels, metal hardware, and fiberglass rods are removed from the containers, the plastic pieces go through the grinding machinery. |
Grinding Process Large pieces of plastic are shredded into medium-size pieces. These pieces are then ground up to small, end-user size. |
Quality Inspection To remove any impurities during the grinding process, the plastic goes through ferrous and non-ferrous metal detection. Continuous visual inspections are also conducted. |
Final Regrind - Raw Material Small granules of plastic regrind are sent from the recycling facility to the manufacturing facility to make DuraGreen bulk containers. |
Container Molding Process The DuraGreen bulk containers are structural-foam molded to RPP's specific requirements. |
Finished Product The newly manufactured bulk containers are inspected and labeled DuraGreen. |
DuraGreen Ready for Shipment RPP's new DuraGreen containers are ready for shipment to fill customer orders. |
